National Wild Turkey Federation's Winchester Museum

The world's only museum dedicated to the history of wild turkey hunting and conservation in North America, the Winchester has exhibits such as an extensive collection of turkey calls and dioramas of the five species of wild turkey.

Dr. Benjamin E. Mays Historical Preservation Site

Learn more about the man historians credit with mentoring and inspiring Dr. Martin Luther King. This site features the cabin where the Greenwood native lived, as well as a one-room schoolhouse similar to the one Mays attended. There is also a museum with photos and other artifacts.

The Abbeville Opera House

Visit Abbeville with its many eclectic shops and antique stores. The Abbeville Opera House is known throughout the South for its community plays and productions.

Old Edgefield Pottery

Take a trip 200 years back in time to when the town of Edgefield led the southeast in the production of stoneware pottery, which can last for centuries and hold up to 40 gallons. Watch as local artists take a mound of clay and turn it into art.
